NUSAJATI is an e-commerce website concept developed in 2021 for a Jepara teak furniture business that combines the natural beauty of teak wood with traditional calligraphy craftsmanship. The website features a classic-modern visual style designed to showcase products elegantly while providing a convenient online shopping experience with WhatsApp-based ordering.
Project Overview
NUSAJATI was developed as an e-commerce platform that allows customers to explore furniture collections, view product information, manage their shopping carts, and submit orders through WhatsApp.
The product catalog includes teak chairs, tables, cabinets, home furniture, and wooden calligraphy crafts. Its visual design combines warm wood tones, dark backgrounds, and gold accents to complement the natural character of teak furniture and convey an elegant, premium brand identity.
The project was built using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, Vanilla JavaScript, PHP, CodeIgniter 3, and MySQL.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was presenting teak furniture and traditional calligraphy crafts through a digital platform while maintaining the brand's elegant and premium identity.
